As part of our updated verification process, all sellers are required to complete the Seller Information Request Form in full. This guide outlines the information you’ll need to provide, along with helpful guidance to ensure your documents and links are submitted correctly. Please read through carefully before completing the form to avoid any delays in verifying your account.
Section 1: Seller Account ID
Your seller ID can be found on our email to you with the form. This will need to be entered to enable us to correctly match your submission to your marketplace account, if not provided then this could result in the suspension of your account with us.

All information above needs to match that on Companies House. It is a requirement that the information on our system matches Companies House so selecting 'Yes' on question 6 will enable us to make the necessary changes to your account details to avoid suspension or further contact.
Section 3: VAT
UK VAT Registration Status - If 'other' such as VAT exempt, please provide details in the box provided

- A business has a fixed establishment in the UK. This is a permanent physical presence with the human and technical resources to make or receive taxable sales.

Primary Location of Goods - This is your primary warehouse address for the location of the goods sold on our marketplace. You will be asked to submit a utility bill for this location, dated within 3 months and it cannot be a mobile bill.
If you use 3PL and cannot provide a utility bill, please provide a signed service agreement or contract with the provider, clearly showing your company name and the address in use.
Do you have any other warehouse locations outside of the UK and if so, what is the address?
Please list any other warehouse locations you may fulfil orders from our platform on but you will not need to provide a utility bill for these locations, this is required for the primary warehouse only.
Returns Address - Please confirm if the address provided as your primary Location of Goods, also acts as your return address. This is for internal use only and will not be displayed to customers. If no, please provide your returns address.
VAT and Companies House Address Match - If the address registered to your UK Company Registration Number is not the same as the address registered to your VAT number, we need you to confirm why and what each location is in relation to your company.
Section 4: Required documentation
The documents required are listed on the form and below. We require one documents from each section, this is mandatory apart from the 'Proof of Employment'. This is only required if over 50% of you directors/persons of significant control are non-UK residents.
We require the documents to be sent to us via link, options include but are not limited to Dropbox, We Transfer and Google Drive.
The 'Getting To Know You' section allows us to learn a bit more about your business and gather key contact details should we have more questions regarding the information and documents submitted.

In line with our legal obligations under both VAT legislation and DAC7 reporting requirements, The Range Marketplace retains seller verification data and sensitive documentation for a period of six (6) years from the end of the calendar year in which the seller ceases trading on the platform. This retention period ensures we remain compliant with UK tax laws and reporting obligations. All data is stored securely and access is restricted to authorised personnel only.

When did these forms get sent out, I fear we may have missed the email but have searched every inbox for it and cant find it. My account is mysteriously back in setup mode so cant sell anything, I've had support tickets out for 20 days now and no one is replaying. Could this form be the issue?
Does anyone still work at the range or did the last person just turn the lights out?
