GPSR Requirements

The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) ensures that all products sold meet strict safety standards to protect consumers. Compliance is essential for sellers operating within the EU markets.

A full guidance document is attached, but as a brief overview:

Sellers who sign up for Northern Ireland (NI) and Republic of Ireland (ROI) services must complete the EU Responsible Entity details in their account settings.

Additionally, they must ensure that all listings include:

• Economic Operator - Name, email and address

• Manufacturer - Name, email and address

• Product Safety - Warnings or Safety Guidance

• Product reference information

We encourage sellers to take ownership of their compliance responsibilities and conduct their due diligence to ensure they meet all regulatory requirements. More information can be found on the official GOV.UK website.

Failure to comply may result in the removal of NI/ROI zones from the seller’s account and could lead to overall account suspension.
