Prohibited and Regulated Products

Sellers must adhere to age restrictions, licensing requirements, safety standards, and reporting protocols to prevent illegal or harmful distribution. Ensuring customer safety and satisfaction is key to building trust and fostering long-term loyalty.  

Prohibited products that cannot be sold on the platform include but are not limited to:

• Any product which has been subject to a safety recall by the manufacturer or local government agency.
• Products that legally require a CE or UKCA mark, but do not have one.
• Counterfeit products including fakes, copies or replicas of brand name items that may be deemed to deceive the purchaser.
• Child car safety seats that do not comply with government safety regulations.
• Any food listed by a seller who does not have a registered business and does not hold a valid licence to sell and distribute food products online.
• Drugs, or drug paraphernalia.
• Any product that contains or is associated with tobacco, such as but not limited to blunt wraps, cigarettes, cigars, dipping tobacco, chewing tobacco and other smokeless tobacco products.
• Cigarette lighter refills and/or butane.
• Crossbows, tasers or any glamorisation of weapons or violence.
• Firearms, imitation firearms and air weapons.
• Knives, axes, razor blades (except safety razors).
• Hazardous or dangerous items.
• Products or media that contain or promote animal abuse
• Electrostatic shock collars used in both training and containment systems for dogs or other animals.
• Offensive or controversial materials.
• Sex and Adult Material, including pornographic materials, such as films rated X, XXX or R18 by the British Board of Film Classification.
• Indecent, obscene nudity or sexually explicit art, articles, books, cards, engravings, prints, paintings, publications, videos and computer games.
• Fireworks and sparklers.
• Party poppers, throw downs, cracker snaps.
• Plants or seeds prohibited by government regulations.
• Taxidermy from a non-approved seller who does not hold a valid license to sell or export online.
• Grab bags or mystery items

Regulated products are sellable on the platform however we will request documentation from you before approval:

• Any branded perfume products will require a right to distribute documentation, a distribution agreement or a company-headed letter from the brand/ distributor that states you have the authorisation to sell.
• All live plants require a plant passport which should be provided upon product upload.
• All products are subject to providing testing certificates and OPSS (Office for Product Safety and Standards) certification if requested.  As per our terms of trade “4.5.3 Within 48 hours of written notice from Us, You shall produce any test certificates, documents, specifications or any other information necessary to satisfy the enquiries or requirements of any local or other authority concerned with trading standards or the enforcement of any rules regulations or legislation in any way relating to or affecting the Goods.”

Adult-only products will be hidden under a filter to prevent our younger customers from browsing and ordering them. These products include but are not exclusive to sex toys, lubricants, lingerie, erotic games or massage oils.
